IVF Breast Cancer

Dear Babs,
I’m so glad you’re tracking down more info about the link between fertility treatments and estrogen positive breast cancer. It makes so much sense to me, and because so many women are waiting to have children and/or using fertility treatments, this is a piece of the breast cancer puzzle more people should be focusing on. Best, B.

Dear Babs,
I just want to write and thank you so much for the information on your website. Through your help I have been in contact with Dr. Veltmann. I am 38 1/2 years old with two children ages 7 and 5 years and live in Sydney Australia. We have been trying for two years to have another child with no success. Our next step is ivf but I feel anxious about it really. I have done the gene detox test and am awaiting results. I feel there are too many risks with ivf. I will let you know how we go but want to thank you again for passing on your knowledge. Everyone should know about this but it seems no one does. Thanks again, R.

Dear Babs,

Thank you for your blog. I was conflicted in my decision to start IVF. Reading your blog helped me firm up my decision to not use IVF treatment. Your voice needs to be heard. I googled IVF and all I read were positive outcomes for both mother and baby but no information on the long term effect of IVF on the mother. Thank you for all you do.

Dear Babs,
Just wanted to let you know, that I had two ivfs, went on and got pregnant without it and developed breast cancer during my pregnancy. We are devastated and I am only 36 years old. I am in Maryland, but went to school in NYU, if after I finish my treatments I can be of any help in helping tell this story, let me know. I talked to Dr. Veltmann and he will mail the kits for me. I just wished that I had read your web before doing the killer treatments. Best regards, S
